Kam Valley Fiddler Bios (2010-11)

Olivia Korkola-With family roots on the East Coast, Olivia grew up listening to Don Messer, Buddy Mc Master and Jerry Holland. Olivia has been with Kam Valley several years, is a student of Pierre Schryer, and has recently released her first CD.
Aisa-Kuper Psenicnik Aisa is one of our "senior" fiddlers who started playing violin at an early age and is in her 9th year with Kam Valley. Aisa has become a valuable mentor to younger fiddlers.
Jesse Turgeon The "senior" member of the fiddling Turgeons, Jesse has been playing fiddle for three years, enjoys many styles but prefers Celtic music. Jesse is a natural performer and "jammer".
Victoria Turgeon-Victoria has also been playing for three years and enjoys playing "uptempo" jigs and reels, often with the Kam Valley junior fiddlers.
Sasha Turgeon-Sasha is the youngest of the fiddling Turgeons but has been with Kam Valley almost three years. He enjoys all types of tunes but favors airs.
Noah Anderson-first year with Kam Valley but works hard at developing his repertoire.
Anne Sawchuck-another newcomer, Anne brings many years of fiddling expertise to the group - very quiet but her fiddling speaks volumes.
Kyran Schryer-second season with Kam Valley and another one of our junior fiddlers, already writing fiddle tunes and developing into an excellent young musician.
Zachary Marchuk-another second-year fiddler, very nice intonation for a young musician and loves to play.
Lauren Differ-Saxberg - second year with Kam Valley, takes lessons from Pierre and is developing a large repertoire of traditional fiddle tunes and a fine ear for the fiddle.
Carly Ross-Harrison -youngest of the Kam Valley fiddling family, Carly shows great promise and has a musical family background. Difficult to believe Carly has finished third year with Kam Valle at such an early age.
Jeremy McCubbin-long-time "senior" with Kam Valley for several years and a "smooth" fiddler, likes to pitch in and help the younger fiddlers. Jeremy also enjoys flying a glider and racing his bicycle for Westgate.
Alieah Brown - given her first violin age four by Grandpa Music (Gerard Audit), Alieah studies classical violin with Olga and has been with Kam Valley three years. She enjoys making her violin dance to fiddle tunes and is a student at Superior C.V.I.
Rheanne Brown - inspired to play violin by older sister Alieah, Rheanne has been studying violin with Olga for 8 years and fiddle with kam Valley three years. Rheanne is inspired often by the older Kam Valley fiddlers.
