For over a quarter-century, the KAM VALLEY FIDDLERS program has been teaching traditional and contemporary fiddle music to young string musicians and providing opportunities to perform in public - at festivals, concerts, weddings, anniversaries, hospitals, seniors' homes and fiddle contests - wherever folks gather to enjoy "wicked good fiddling". As well they have been strong supporters of the Thunder Bay Music Festival with individual and group entries.

Twice they brought their style of fiddliing and their tunes to Cape Breton for concerts. They have also been invited to share the stage with professional musicians such as PIERRE SCHRYER, JENNIFER ROLAND, SCOTT WOODS and the THUNDER BAY SYMPHONY.

The Kam valley Fiddlers program is operated in the music wing of Westgate High School on Monday evenings at 7 PM from September through June.  Many thanks to instructors ROB RANDLE and WENDY RATZ  for contributing their time and their talents to teaching the fiddlers.  Young string musicians are always welcome to drop in and learn and  sample some of  that "wicked good fiddling".
